Appointment of Mr. Iu Po Shing, Patrick as a Consultant
The Partners of Tsun & Partners are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Iu Po Shing, Patrick as a Consultant.

Mr. Iu was the founder and the former managing partner of Iu, Lai & Li Solicitors (姚黎李律師行), which was founded in 1979. Through his leadership, the firm grew to become one of the major corporate and commercial law firms in Hong Kong.

During his 36 years of practice, he has acted for government authorities, real estate developers, banks, financial institutions and listed issuers in Hong Kong and the PRC. His experience span the areas of banking, real estate project, project finance, conveyancing, joint ventures, foreign direct investment, acquisitions and mergers, corporate and commercial, litigation, arbitration and regulatory enforcement. Through his established experience, we are committed to provide quality services to clients in Hong Kong and the PRC.

Mr. Iu was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong SAR in 1970. He was also admitted as a solicitor in Victoria, Australia in 1984 and as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore in 1993.

In addition, Mr. Iu was admitted as a Notary Public in Hong Kong in 1981, and was appointed as a China-Appointed Attesting Officer by the PRC Ministry of Justice in 1993.

Mr. Iu has served as a member of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee Panel between July 1985 to May 1993. He has been a member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel from 1994 to 2004.
